Role Overview

As the Store Operations Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions within the store. This includes managing stockrooms, remote storage, containers, and back-of-house areas, ensuring they meet the highest standards in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain optimal capacity across all storage areas and manage stock effectively.
  • Team Productivity: Drive your team's productivity to ensure timely processing of deliveries and efficient replenishment of stock.
  • Health & Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, conducting regular checks and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement strategies to protect profit margins, manage stock transfers accurately, and engage the team in theft deterrence through excellent customer service.
  • Sales Support: Manage the launch of sales effectively, while being flexible to support initiatives that drive sales and maximize profitability.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and motivate the team.
  • Proven leadership abilities.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • A track record of reducing stock loss.
  • Experience managing remote or off-site stockrooms.
  • Experience leading large teams in high-volume environments.
  • Previous experience at the Operations Manager level or equivalent.
