Learning and Development Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Advisor to join our team at The Inn Collection Group. As a key member of our People Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning journey for our employees and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops to help employees grow and develop new skills.
  • Lead the induction process for new starters, ensuring they have all the tools they need to succeed from day one.
  • Oversee the Chef Academy Apprenticeship Programme, supporting our apprentice chefs as they learn and develop their careers.
  • Coordinate learning programs, working with different teams to assess training needs and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Manage our Learning Management System (LMS), handling course enrolments and supporting employees with any issues they may have.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update learning materials, keeping our training relevant and aligned with the latest trends.
  • Track training participation, gather feedback, and report on the effectiveness of programs to inform future improvements.
Requirements:
  • Experience in learning and development, with strong facilitation skills to lead engaging training sessions.
  • Experience running induction programs and making new employees feel welcome.
  • Familiarity with apprenticeship programs and experience managing or coordinating training initiatives.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and keep everything on track.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
