Senior Business Development Manager

Russell Publishing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing sales and business development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a B2B media or publishing environment and be able to develop strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate revenue through sales of print, digital, event, and conference products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Proactively developing new business to expand the client base and increase sales
  • Facilitating and setting up meetings via Teams or at external conferences and events
  • Issuing campaign performance reports to clients
  • Recording all client information and following processes within CRM
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets on allocated brands
  • Attending relevant exhibitions and conferences with international travel

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or publishing, media, sponsorship, or delegates sales
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and use of CRMs
  • Networking and building effective relationships
  • Time management, punctuality, planning, and meeting deadlines
  • Commercial awareness
