Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects within manufacturing, taking responsibility for delivery, project planning, execution, and cost.
  • Manufacturing Process Expertise: Utilize knowledge of modern machining and manufacturing processes, NC programming, and lean manufacturing techniques to optimize production efficiency.
  • Documentation and Quality Control: Create and maintain supporting documentation, including manufacturing routings, layouts, and instructions, to ensure quality control and compliance.
  • Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Define, perform, and implement investigations into non-conformance through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work cross-functionally with different departments, including design, quality, procurement, and external suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Ideally, you will be qualified to HNC level or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with relevant training as a manufacturing technician/engineer.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of Siemens NX (CAM) and Hypermill, as well as experience in modern manufacturing facilities with a good understanding of modern machining techniques and problem-solving techniques.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
