About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company. As a senior member of the Engineering team, you will be taking the lead in the design and development of new turbochargers and associated products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new turbochargers and related machines
  • Lead technical projects involving R&D, product validation, testing, and associated development
  • Interface with other business functions, including Commercial, Manufacturing, and Procurement
  • Contribute to methods development and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Experience in high-speed rotating equipment engineering, ideally turbochargers
  • Demonstrated engineering leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to work with non-engineering functions to deliver projects
