About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company. As a senior member of the Engineering team, you will be taking the lead in the design and development of new turbochargers and associated products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design of new turbochargers and related machines
  • Lead on technical projects, involving R&D, product validation, testing, and associated development
  • Interfacing with other business functions, Commercial, Manufacturing and Procurement
  • Input to methods development and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Experience in high-speed rotating equipment engineering ideally turbochargers
  • Demonstrate engineering leadership, especially the ability to problem solve and drive assigned activities through to completion in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate experience of working with non-engineering functions to deliver projects
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills
