About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Care Worker - Children and Young People. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment for young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Provide guidance and support to help young people overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy living environment, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or incidents.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-in shifts and rotational schedules.
  • Full UK driving license (desirable).
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
