Position: Family Activities Supervisor
Reporting To: Activities Manager

Job Purpose:

To oversee the safe, engaging, and health-focused execution of our children's activity program at DL Clubs, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members daily.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering a member-centric service and fostering engagement at all times.
  • Guiding the team to conduct children's activities with enthusiasm and structure, promoting maximum participation.
  • Managing the execution of the children's activity schedule, including the Core Club Programme, Holiday Active Programmes, and children's parties.
  • Implementing the children's program in accordance with Product Briefs, Lesson Plans, and Brand Standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Children's Safety Guide in all services provided to children.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for team members and members, prioritizing the needs of children as outlined in the Guide.
  • Maximizing member experience, usage, participation, and perceived value through expert coaching, high-quality sessions/events, effective communication, and excellent equipment and facilities.
  • Engaging with members about their activities and seeking continuous improvement opportunities for their experience at DL Clubs.
  • Utilizing feedback channels such as Member Surveys, Employee Engagement Surveys, and comment cards to enhance the member and team member experience.
  • Addressing and resolving member inquiries or complaints proactively.
  • Recruiting and developing a high-performance team through effective induction, training, management, and regular reviews, while fostering strong relationships among team members.
  • Sharing knowledge and expertise with fellow team members.

Performance Metrics:
  • Quality of service and engagement delivered by the team.
  • Compliance of children's areas with Health and Safety regulations and the Children's Safety Guide.
  • Efficiency in responding to incidents, issues, or complaints.
  • Feedback from members, team members, and mystery members regarding the program.
  • Adherence to the organization's values by the team.
  • Compliance with operational procedures.
  • Achievement of revenue targets for Holiday Active and Parties.
  • Meeting participation targets for the children's program.
  • Management of costs to achieve budgeted margins.
  • Ensuring all new child members receive appropriate welcome sessions.
  • Contributing to the club's membership growth, particularly among families with children.
  • Receiving regular visits from management and support personnel.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Relevant qualification in teaching, childcare, or sports coaching (Essential).
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership (Essential).
  • Experience in financial planning and management.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to confidently and energetically lead a group of children (Essential) and demonstrate excellence in customer service.
  • Effective listening and collaboration skills.
  • Team-oriented approach.
