About the Role

We are seeking a talented Junior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at CV-Library, based in South Essex. As a key member of our design and engineering team, you will be responsible for producing mechanical designs and drawings for our mechanical teams to work with.

As a Junior Mechanical Project Engineer, you will work closely with various departments, including sales, projects, and shop floor teams, to manage project expectations and deliver high-quality results. Your expertise in mechanical design, using Autodesk products such as AutoCAD and Inventor, will be essential in creating innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce mechanical designs and drawings for the mechanical teams
  • Work alongside various departments to manage project expectations
  • Enclosure design, conveyor design, ductwork design, and general mechanical design
Requirements

We are looking for a Design Engineer at the early stages of their career who is passionate about Mechanical Design within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. You will have:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of industrial design environments using Autodesk products
  • Relevant Engineering certification/qualification
