About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a specialist resource. As an autonomous practitioner, you will provide holistic care to patients, assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of conditions.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care to patients
  • Demonstrating safe and effective clinical decision-making and expert care
  • Using a medical model to assess, diagnose, and prescribe for acute medical conditions
  • Participating in and influencing efforts to shape multi-disciplinary pathways to support patient choice and improve quality of life
  • Providing strong leadership to the team, including day-to-day leadership responsibilities, development, and creative leadership

  • Registered First Level Nurse qualification
  • Relevant nursing/health degree
  • History taking and physical assessment course
  • Clinical Supervision Training
  • Independent and supplementary Nurse prescribing course
  • Teaching and Assessing qualification ENB 998 or equivalent/mentorship qualification PETALS
