About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Tutor, you will work with children with Special Education Needs, providing one-to-one support and developing their knowledge in core subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging sessions based on the child's needs and learning objectives
- Work with children with ASD, SEMH, or PMLD, providing face-to-face support in their homes, care homes, or local areas
- Track progress and plan next steps in the child's learning
- Implement behavior strategies to ensure children are focused and on task
- Develop effective behavior management strategies and inspire children to achieve their learning goals
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEN children
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions based on the child's needs
- Effective behavior management strategies and ability to track progress
- Ability to develop skills to raise children's confidence in their learning
