Job Title: SEN Tutor - Primary and Secondary

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Tutor, you will work with children with Special Education Needs, providing one-to-one support and developing their knowledge in core subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging sessions based on the child's needs and learning objectives
  • Work with children with ASD, SEMH, or PMLD, providing face-to-face support in their homes, care homes, or local areas
  • Track progress and plan next steps in the child's learning
  • Implement behavior strategies to ensure children are focused and on task
  • Develop effective behavior management strategies and inspire children to achieve their learning goals

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN children
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions based on the child's needs
  • Effective behavior management strategies and ability to track progress
  • Ability to develop skills to raise children's confidence in their learning
