- Maximizing Sustainability Investments: Utilize thought leadership and collaborate with marketing to develop programs such as webinars and lunch and learn sessions to maximize our investment in sustainability initiatives.
- Sustainability Initiatives Coordination: Coordinate sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable transportation, allocating funds, informing business leaders of new potential initiatives, and staying up-to-date with sustainability trends and options.
- Supplier Sustainability Assessment: Assess the sustainability of our suppliers to ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Sustainability Research and Development: Conduct research on sustainability best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to keep the business informed and competitive as a sustainable organization without compromising company objectives.
- Sustainability Policy Development: Develop sustainability policies to ensure the organization remains compliant with environmental regulations and standards, influencing and drafting internal policies and documents, and updating them as necessary.
- Sustainability Training and Education: Provide sustainability training to promote sustainable practices and encourage behavioral changes within the organization.
- Sustainable Technologies Implementation: Evaluate and implement sustainable technologies, such as energy-efficient lighting and water-saving devices, to improve sustainability performance.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Build partnerships with external organizations to gather resources and coordinate collective efforts toward sustainability goals.
- Business Acumen and Project Management: Excel in crafting and advocating for sustainable processes to enhance the value proposition of our organization, managing complex sustainability projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, analyzing sustainability data, conducting research, and identifying trends, ideally with proficiency in data analysis software and other tools.
