As a High-Level Area Hygiene Operative at Valeo Foods, your primary responsibility will be to ensure and maintain exceptional hygiene standards throughout our production facility. You'll play a vital role in upholding the quality and safety of our products by diligently carrying out both scheduled and unscheduled hygiene tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively utilize cleaning equipment and chemicals to achieve and surpass factory cleanliness and hygiene benchmarks.
  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled hygiene activities to guarantee consistent maintenance of a pristine environment.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with fellow team members to ensure all hygiene tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Adhere strictly to established procedures for the safe and effective use of chemicals and equipment.
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to our hygiene system and protocols.
  • Actively contribute to the development and refinement of Hygiene Team activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and local regulations related to cleaning operations. Your actions will prioritize the safety of both our workforce and external partners.

Your Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of documentation and procedures associated with hygiene processes.
  • Proven experience in high-level cleaning practices.
  • A valid scissor lift/cherry picker license is highly desirable (training can be provided if needed).
  • Proficiency in manual handling techniques, including the operation of high-pressure hoses.
  • A current Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Fundamental Health and Safety awareness.
  • Completion of a COSHH Course.
  • Successful completion of induction training, including ladder safety.
