Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Inspire and lead operational teams to prioritize safety in all activities, ensuring that they receive adequate training to meet competency and compliance standards.
- Quality and Compliance: Promote a culture of 'right first time' to reduce customer complaints, reviewing and approving contractor method statements and risk assessments, and conducting regular safety audits to identify hazards and implement necessary controls.
- Operational Delivery: Proactively manage future works and programs to minimize disruptions and preventable mistakes, managing vehicles and drivers to adhere to driving standards policies and the highway code.
- People Management: Exceptional people management and delivery skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, diplomacy, and the ability to make independent decisions, balancing client expectations with contractual requirements and business priorities.
- Qualifications: NRSWA, SMSTS/SSSTS, and CDM training.
- Experience: HV Power or relevant industry experience essential.
