Join Our Team as a Technical Planning Graduate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Technical Planning team at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood. As a Technical Planning Graduate, you will be responsible for planning and delivering best practice solutions to improve efficiency, ergonomic, logistical, and layout elements of the work area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing a Lean Manufacturing Environment by applying the company's own VPS/CIP principles to reduce the 7 Wastes of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Creation of work instructions and further relevant process documentation and optimisation of assembly sequences, including line balancing.
  • Strategical analysis of future volume demands and their impact on the production system. Scenario planning to create the future production system considering all relevant planning premises.
  • Industrialisation of production processes for new Rolls-Royce interior parts from concept through to an approved release for series production with consideration for future materials and innovation of manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards or have achieved a Bachelor's degree at 2:2 or above or a Master's degree Pass or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and fluent in English.
  • Excellent team spirit and communication skills.
  • Autodidactic ability of learning new methods and software applications.
