About the RoleWe are seeking a talented and enthusiastic placement student to join our team in Goodwood, UK. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our prestigious brand.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily leadership operational needs
- Steer your own projects within the department to develop your own leadership skills and network
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to support them in the continuous improvement cycle
- Support the development of digitalization within the department
- Work alongside manufacturing associates to understand the impact of engineering concepts and the problem-solving methods behind improving them
- Studying a Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a Mechanical Engineering or Business Management degree
- Fluent in English; a working knowledge of German would be beneficial but not essential
- Extensive PC skills (Microsoft Office, CAD, SharePoint, etc)
- Problem solving, time management and communication skills shown through involvement in projects and activities undertake at university and in your spare time
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing would be beneficial
- Any other skills that will benefit our business that you can give evidence of how you have applied these skills
- A competitive annual salary of £25,300 per annum
- 27 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract)
