Job Summary
Lionsgate Contractors is seeking an experienced Storeman to join our team on a long-term basis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized store environment, ensuring that all materials and equipment are properly managed and accounted for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Maintenance: Ensure that the store is tidy and well-organized, with all materials and equipment properly stored and labeled.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that all materials and equipment are accurately accounted for, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Tool and Equipment Management: Sign in and out tools and equipment as required, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures, and report any hazards or incidents to management.
Requirements:
- CSCS Card: Hold a current Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- Driving License: Possess a full UK driving license.
- Construction Equipment Knowledge: Have a good understanding of various construction equipment and tools.
- Previous Experience: Have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Computer Skills: Be comfortable using computers and other technology.
- HS2 Induction: Have undergone HS2 induction training (advantageous but not essential).
- Safety Critical Medical Certificate: Hold a safety critical medical certificate (advantageous but not essential).
