Join Our Team as a Lead Systems Architect
Are you ready to influence the future of interconnected embedded systems? In our Central Technology Systems Group, we boast a talented team of engineers dedicated to all facets of SoC (System on Chip) architecture.
Your Role:
- Engage in challenging development initiatives to launch projects and lead sophisticated proof-of-concept endeavors.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership and product strategy teams to outline a comprehensive technology roadmap.
- Transform technology needs into platform architecture, integrating hardware, software, tools, and additional components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work proactively with Arm's architecture and core technology teams to maintain a roadmap of architectural platforms and technology feature advancements that cater to the requirements of Arm-based embedded device SoCs.
- Assess architectural proposals and internal/external IP features, providing influential leadership across hardware, software, and platform teams to unify all stakeholders towards a shared vision of architecture and technology progression.
- Draft high-level architectural specifications that empower engineering teams to design and validate platforms tailored for the embedded device market segments.
- Design experiments and analyses to address architectural inquiries, and innovate or oversee the creation of simulators, models, profilers, and other necessary tools to facilitate these analyses.
Communication:
Effectively convey results and technical concepts to diverse audiences, from individual hardware or software engineers to architecture community peers and senior technology and business leaders.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields is required; a Master's or PhD is advantageous.
- A proven history in embedded SoC architectures involving Cortex-M and Cortex-A CPUs, or equivalent experience.
