Support Worker - Burgess Hill

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at our supported living service in Burgess Hill. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the individuals we support, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, socialise, and participate in activities
  • Teach individuals new life skills, such as cooking and budgeting
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to develop and implement individualised care plans

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Resilience, flexibility, and composure in approach
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including mental health needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
