Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at St Andrews Brew House in Norwich. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of chefs, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and contributing to the success of our pub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of chefs to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials
  • Manage kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety effectively
  • Drive sales and deliver growth through engagement with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP with a passion for leading and developing a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff, training, and health and safety effectively
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to maintain effective controls
  • Proactive approach to driving sales and delivering growth
