Job Title: Senior Finance Partner
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Partner to join our team at Algeco UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our Regional Director/MD and their teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Interpret monthly management accounts to provide meaningful analysis and commentary against budgets, forecasts, and previous years' performance for the respective area.
- Management Accounts: Own specific P&L lines for a comprehensive business view.
- Sales Performance Support: Provide analysis and challenge on the utilisation of the rental fleet, rental rates, transport rates, and 360 products to deliver against budget and forecast targets.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Produce monthly regional/OBU trading and reporting packs with appropriate league tables for depot and sales performance by salesperson.
- Financial Planning: Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for all depots and regional functions, delivering insight and analysis to identify and communicate long-term trends to key stakeholders.
- Initiative Identification and Implementation: Support the identification and implementation of initiatives across the business, including preparing business cases with robust financial models.
- Cost Analysis: Provide robust financial analysis of the Delivery & Installation part of the P&L and help identify cost-saving or margin-enhancing opportunities.
- Maintenance and Production Efficiency: Monitor maintenance costs per unit and challenge production efficiency in the end-to-end yard process to drive optimal cost per unit type.
- Contract Profitability: Support the financial accounting teams by providing operational insight into the month-end numbers and supplementary analysis required for external reporting.
- FP&A Requirements: Cover Sales, Cost of Sales (GPC), Cost to Serve (D&I), SG&A, working capital, and Capex.
Requirements:
