About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Drainage Engineer to join our team at SYSTRA UK & Ireland. As a key member of our drainage team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality drainage designs and solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of drainage projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement drainage solutions that meet client needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage and direct engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement in drainage design and delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in drainage design and delivery, with a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver projects that meet client needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex drainage issues and develop effective solutions.
