We are currently recruiting for a permanent Maintenance Technician to join a well-established client based in a manufacturing company.

Our client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.

**Contract:** Permanent

**Shifts:** Rotational

**Schedule:** 6am-2pm Mon – Thurs and Fri 6am-12pm, followed by 2-11pm Mon – Thurs and Fri 12-6pm.

**Salary:** Up to £43,000 per annum

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the site and all of its maintenance to ensure production is continually provided. On occasions where issues cannot be resolved internally, the Maintenance Technician will assist with external suppliers to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

1. Continually carry out routine and preventative maintenance, mechanical settings, and fault diagnosis across all facilities and systems.

2. Maintain a range of equipment, including:

  • Vertical powder paint lines
  • Semi-automated packing lines
  • Paint line conveyors and tracks
  • Spray guns and reciprocators
  • Liquid pumps, valves, and heating elements in chemical treatment and wastewater treatment plants
  • Polyamide rolling lines and packing machines

3. Develop an understanding of pneumatic and mechanical control systems.

4. Develop an understanding of electro-mechanical control systems.

5. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure effective maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
