Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced financial accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Group Financial Accountant, you will be at the heart of our operations for a £700m+ turnover private equity-backed global business. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from systems improvements and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to month-end and year-end support, including reporting, audit support, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Closing monthly results, financial year-end, and preparing statutory financial documents (IFRS)
- Participating in various accounting projects such as operational improvement and simplification
- Working closely with our outsourced finance provider on month-end transactional activities
- Helping build and maintain uniform and consistently documented and applied financial policies and processes
Requirements
- IFRS experience
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), fixed asset accounting, etc.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills
- Experience with IFS is an advantage
