Financial Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Specialist to join our client's finance team. This role involves managing the financial accounting function for a newly acquired business and its operating entities.
The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation.
- Provide financial information and advice to help the business monitor key reconciliations.
- Support finance projects, cost-saving initiatives, and various ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Prepare financial statements for business units, including balance sheets, profit & loss, cash flow, and consolidated financial statements.
- Participate in internal and external audits and assist with balance sheet reviews and asset verification processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA).
- Technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience with inventory or project accounting is desirable.
- Proficiency in Xero and Excel is desirable.
