Join Our Team as a Plumber and Help Drive the Global Renewable Energy Revolution

We're on a mission to make a big green dent in the universe, and we're looking for passionate Plumbers to join our team. As a Plumber at Octopus Energy, you'll play a crucial role in installing low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You'll work as part of a team of two, learning about new technologies and getting awesome training to give you the skills to assist the installation engineer from day one.

What You'll Do
  • Install low carbon technology in customers' homes, including Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Learn about new technologies and get training to assist the installation engineer
  • Use your knowledge and experience of domestic heating and plumbing systems to prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators
  • Ensure work is carried out cleanly and respectfully at customers' properties
  • Plan and communicate with your team and customers
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Heat Pump Installation
  • Problem-solve and anticipate problems to find solutions quickly and efficiently
What You'll Have
  • Experience as a Plumber with plenty of experience on the 'wet' side of domestic heating systems, including unvented
  • A laser customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and a keen eye for detail
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
What We Offer
  • Basic salary between £26,000 and £30,000 per year
