About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Specialist to join our team at Kroo. As a key member of our Lending Operations function, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of arrears and collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate directly with customers via in-app chat, email, and telephone to resolve queries and concerns.
  • Support the implementation of arrears, forbearance, and collections procedures, taking ownership of successful delivery.
  • Manage loan lifecycle events, ensuring seamless and efficient processing.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting and lending policy teams to improve overall strategy and risk appetite.
  • Produce reports on key metrics to inform business decisions.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong knowledge of 1st line processes, including experience with arrears, collections, and vulnerability procedures.
  • Good knowledge of consumer credit practices and relevant FCA regulation.
  • 2 years' experience working with consumer credit products as a minimum.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience working at a start-up or in a fast-paced environment.
