Overview
GCS Ltd is seeking a highly proficient and seasoned Senior Cloud Security Architect to join our dynamic team.

Role Summary
In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in protecting our cloud ecosystem, executing comprehensive security measures, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the oversight of cloud security operations, crafting and implementing strategies that strengthen our cloud infrastructure against cyber threats.
2. Promptly address and resolve cloud security incidents with expertise and accuracy, minimizing their repercussions.
3. Assist in the preparation of cloud security assessments, upholding the highest standards of compliance and data integrity.
4. Conduct thorough cloud-specific penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses and propose strategic, preventative measures.
5. Supervise the design and implementation of secure configurations for Azure and AWS, ensuring compliance with current best practices.
6. Collaborate closely with fellow security team members to contribute to risk evaluations, compliance reviews, and the resolution of identified cloud security challenges.
7. Act as a technical mentor and resource, sharing your extensive knowledge of cloud security with various teams and enhancing overall security awareness.

Qualifications
1. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
2. A minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in cloud security, with a proven emphasis on Azure and AWS platforms.
3. Possession of recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in conducting cloud penetration testing and managing comprehensive vulnerability assessments.
5. In-depth knowledge of cloud-specific risk management methodologies, security protocols, and industry standards.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, resilience, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
7. Experience working collaboratively in a global, complex organizational setting.
8. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
