About the Role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a Clinical Homecare Nurse. As a Clinical Homecare Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes, workplaces, or communities across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver medical treatments such as IV infusions, home parenteral nutrition treatments, and intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
- Train patients to administer their own medication
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management and self-care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
Requirements
- Valid NMC PIN
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working in a homecare or community setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel between patients throughout the day
