Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Focus Resourcing. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receiving and storing goods to dispatching customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Goods Receipt and Storage: Receive and store goods from suppliers, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient storage.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely dispatch of customer orders, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support Functions: Assist in processing orders, filing paperwork, and performing other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous Warehouse Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of logistics and inventory management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry boxes up to approximately 20Kgs each, with a strong emphasis on physical fitness and stamina.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in basic computer skills, including spreadsheets and email, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Communication and Time Management: Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
