Position Overview

This role is designed to provide essential administrative support within the Ophthalmology department.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering a high standard of clerical and administrative assistance to the Ophthalmology Team. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with national and local objectives while adhering to hospital standard operating procedures.
  • Accurate data entry and validation within the hospital's Medway system.
  • Supporting the daily operations of the service under the guidance of the Deputy Service Manager for Ophthalmology.

Education and Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of GCSE or equivalent Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.

Desirable Criteria

  • Level 2 qualification in Business Administration.
  • IT proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
