Ophthalmology Administrative Coordinator

Position Overview
This role involves providing essential administrative support within the Ophthalmology department.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering high-quality clerical and administrative assistance to the Ophthalmology Team. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with national and local performance targets.
- Adhering to the hospital's standard operating procedures and processes.
- Accurate data entry and validation within the hospital's Medway system.
- Supporting the daily operations of the service under the guidance of the Deputy Service Manager.

Candidate Requirements
Education and Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- GCSE or equivalent Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
Desirable Criteria
- Level 2 qualification in Business Administration.
- Certification in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience and Knowledge
Essential Criteria
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Experience working within an NHS environment.
