We are seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to become a vital part of our marketing division, collaborating closely with both Marketing and Ecommerce teams to implement exceptional email marketing and CRM initiatives that enhance customer engagement, retention, and conversion rates for Emma Bridgewater. The specialist will oversee the planning, design, execution, and analysis of a comprehensive and brand-aligned customer journey throughout various lifecycle stages.

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Location: Hybrid role, with a minimum of two days per week expected in the office

Hours of Work: Standard business hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the Emma Bridgewater Email Marketing calendar.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Ecommerce teams to define and implement the email marketing strategy to achieve set objectives.
  • Working alongside the Marketing team to identify and develop on-brand and timely marketing messages, crafting email content and designs utilizing campaign resources.
  • Ensuring a seamless customer experience across the company website and landing pages.
  • Leading the planning and execution of both broadcast and automated email campaigns.
  • Analyzing performance metrics and KPIs on a regular basis, reporting against benchmarks and forecasts, and evaluating the success of new initiatives.
  • Designing and executing A/B tests for both broadcast and automated emails, continuously monitoring performance, reporting findings, and leveraging insights to enhance future campaigns.
  • Creating CRM customer lists for both ad-hoc and automated campaigns as well as digital marketing efforts.
  • Troubleshooting deliverability issues and providing solutions to email marketing challenges.
  • Monitoring competitor activities and technological advancements to ensure adherence to email marketing best practices, crafting top-tier campaigns.
  • Staying informed about email marketing best practices and consistently assessing and refining our communication strategies.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between Emma Bridgewater and our external agency.
  • Collaborating closely with Ecommerce colleagues to align campaigns with our overall marketing strategy.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an email marketing role.
  • Proficient in managing an email platform within an ecommerce context.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize insights for informed decision-making.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy email calendar effectively.
  • Confident and collaborative, with a passion for design and copywriting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific email marketing tools.
  • Background in copywriting.
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and their implications for customer data management.
