About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Consultant to join our team at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology services to the population of Tayside and Fife.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients requiring interventional radiology services
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes
  • Participate in on-call services, including 1:7.5 IR on-call, to provide 24/7 coverage for emergency cases
  • Contribute to the development of special interests and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with radiographers and nurses to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT or CESR(CP) at the time of interview.
