Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of quarry employees, including direct reports, to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee major extraction operations to the highest safety and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage third-party contractors, company operatives, and road hauliers to ensure supply to internal and external customers.
  • Develop and manage budgets for quarry operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Implement and manage quality assurance and environmental systems, including water discharge best practice, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collect and analyze extraction and geological data to inform business decisions and achieve key targets and objectives.
