Role Overview

Group Audit (GA) is in search of Audit professionals at the Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Audit Manager and Vice President (VP) - Senior Manager levels. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading audit execution and regulatory remediation validation within their designated business or functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regulatory remediation validation, ensuring alignment with the established approach; identify key risks, document process flows and essential controls, test the effectiveness of controls, and report findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality validation memos for management review, facilitate tracking of issues, and validate the resolution of findings.
  • Collaborate with global audit teams to ensure thorough audit validation and regulatory remediation.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships; communicate transparently with management and internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of potential issues and promptly escalating problems or delays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Internal Audit, preferably within the Financial Services sector, particularly in Investment Banking products.
  • A solid understanding of the operational requirements and regulatory landscape of a Global Bank; experience in Market Conduct Remediation risks and controls is advantageous.
  • Strong familiarity with auditing standards and concepts, including design assessment, audit testing/sampling, and operating effectiveness testing.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills and the ability to cultivate strong business and team relationships; proven effectiveness in communication at all levels, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management and planning capabilities; financial acumen and an analytical mindset.
