About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as Head of People and Culture. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the HR team to deliver exceptional HR services across a range of activities, including Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), change management, talent management, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the HR team to deliver timely and impactful results while fostering a positive organizational culture.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote EDI and Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to drive meaningful change and improve organizational performance.
  • Manage and develop the HR team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional HR services.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to senior leaders and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a public sector organization.
  • Deep understanding of the public sector equality duty and commitment to driving meaningful change.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
