Level 3 qualified Plumber required for a challenging role at HMP Highpoint, a Category C, Male prison.

Salary:£36,595.10 per annum, competitive and rewarding.
Contract:Full time/Perm (shift working pattern), a stable and secure career path.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at HMP Highpoint. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.
The successful candidate will have a track record in delivering high quality maintenance services, be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements, and have experience working on commercial or industrial heating and water systems. Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements is essential, as is a Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
