Software Engineering Manager Role

Join a leading telecommunications company in Birmingham and take on a challenging role as a Software Engineering Manager.

This is a hybrid position that requires you to be in the office 3 days a week, working on greenfield projects and maintaining them using cloud technologies such as Java, Typescript, or Python.

As a successful Software Engineering Manager, you will have experience with back-end technologies, AWS, GCP, or Azure, and knowledge of DevOps and Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5 software engineers in developing and maintaining cloud-based applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading software engineering teams and managing cloud-based projects
  • Strong technical skills in back-end technologies, cloud platforms, and DevOps
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
