Job Opportunity: Multiskilled Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is collaborating with a leading global packaging manufacturer in Rotherham to hire a skilled Multiskilled Engineer.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of a range of injection moulding machines and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on injection moulding machines and associated equipment
  • Investigate and resolve machine problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Support the maintenance of machinery and facilities to ensure optimal performance
  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager on production issues and provide technical support as needed
  • Identify technical problems and provide solutions to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Lead project work and Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive business growth and efficiency
  • Train and mentor Engineering Apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Level 3 or above in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Time served apprenticeship in a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of injection moulding machinery and tooling
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
