Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at an international advanced pharmaceutical and medical device business. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing setting and an engineering background, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. You will work in a small team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility, which operates on a 24-7 production routine.

Shift patterns will be rotated weekly, including night shifts and occasional work on a Saturday. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to resolve technical issues and maintain equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and be able to work in a regulated environment. You will also have experience with maintenance, engineering, and operator roles, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.

Access to own transport is necessary due to the location of the facility and the shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing systems
  • Work in a small team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
  • Resolve technical issues and maintain equipment
  • Work in a regulated environment, adhering to GMP guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure the successful operation of the facility
