The Role

Financial Times Live (FT Live) is the conferences and events division of the Financial Times, responsible for delivering high-profile events, strategic forums, and digital webinars that bring together global executives, thought leaders, and decision-makers. As a Sales Professional, you will play a critical role in securing high-level sponsorship deals from global corporations and institutes, working closely with FT Live's content, operations, and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with FT Live's content, operations, and marketing teams to create integrated business solutions that meet client needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed monthly activity levels and targets.
  • Maintain and strategically develop a portfolio of key accounts, delivering new business and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver high-value content, events, and digital experiences that meet client expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and client needs, adapting sales approaches accordingly.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in a target-driven environment, with a track record of delivering new business and revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to adapt sales approaches to meet client needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in CRM system usage, preferably Salesforce.
