Job Title: Data Analysis Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analysis Officer to join our Transformation Unit team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of our ophthalmology pathways.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that failsafe activities are effectively managed and performed in accordance with local and national policies.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance performance.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on relevant data to inform decision-making and drive business improvement.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to the Service Delivery Manager to ensure that clinic capacity is fully utilized and performance is optimized.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Keyboard Skills: Possess advanced keyboard skills and experience with electronic patient records and tracking systems.
  • Education and Training: Hold a diploma-level education or equivalent relevant experience in medical terminology, electronic patient records, and audit and data analysis.
  • Leadership Training: Possess leadership training and experience in working with clinical staff.
  • NHS Experience: Have at least 5 years of NHS acute experience in a relevant administrative role.
