Technical Operations Services Manager

Role Objective
The primary aim of this position is to guarantee that the facility maintains comprehensive technical documentation that aligns with client expectations while providing a robust framework for training and supporting the food manufacturing operations team.
Additionally, the role focuses on fostering adherence and ongoing enhancement in essential technical areas:
- Management of quality manual systems
- Compliance with internal audit protocols
- Reduction of customer complaints
- Minimization of environmental and product microbiological issues
Main Duties
- Develop and uphold site quality systems that fulfill customer and third-party audit standards, ensuring a solid defense for due diligence.
- Oversee the internal audit framework, ensuring audits are conducted as per the established schedule.
- Lead initiatives for reducing complaints and microbiological concerns, promoting collaboration across various teams.
- Ensure adherence to all existing and new customer codes of practice by conducting systematic evaluations and implementing necessary changes.
- Maintain and enhance requirements for obtaining chain of custody certifications such as RSPO and MSC.
- Supervise the technical services team, establishing objectives and key performance indicators for both the team and individuals.
- Manage the graduate and industrial placement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the technical manager to ensure overall technical compliance at the site.

Knowledge & Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a food-related field.
- Familiarity with BRC standards, customer codes of practice, and relevant chain of custody standards.
- Solid understanding of microbiological standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
- Experience in quality assurance within the food industry.
