Job Summary
Gap Technical is seeking a highly skilled Building Services Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the site services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems and equipment at our client's facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance duties to ensure optimal performance of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Compile and maintain accurate maintenance records, including daily engineering downtime reports.
- Develop and implement method statements and risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
- Collaborate with the site services manager to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Perform manual work, including working at heights and in confined spaces, as required.
- Ensure all plant and equipment is operational and fit for purpose.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a site services engineer with a strong track record of maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems, including actuators, sensors, hot water cylinders, pumps, chillers, ventilation, heating and cooling systems, and compressed air systems.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
