This exciting opportunity will see you supporting our award-winning services, with a focus on strategic sourcing and category management. You will be responsible for planning, defining, and executing a category strategy that delivers immediate and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
- Contract Management: Audit and assess current contracts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Supplier Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, driving performance and achieving cost savings.
- KPI Management: Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Indirect Procurement on high-risk or high-value opportunities.
- Sourcing Activities: Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, implementing cost-saving strategies and delivering annual target savings.
To Be Successful:
- Excellent Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including c-suite executives.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop and implement a strategic sourcing strategy, taking accountability for the category's direction.
- Market Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of the supplier markets in technology, driving commercial advantages for the business.
- Influencing and Negotiation: Develop and maintain strong influencing and negotiation skills, driving cost savings and improving supplier relationships.
- Analytical and Results-Driven: Analyze data and drive results, with a focus on delivering cost savings and improving supplier relationships.
- Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
