Role Summary – What to Anticipate:

We are offering two exciting opportunities to become a part of our Production Engineering team as a Production Engineer. In this role, you will deliver technical expertise, process support, and project validation assistance to the Packaging, Distribution, and Maintenance teams.

You will play a crucial role in evaluating, specifying, and developing automated packaging machinery and distribution systems. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conducting safety evaluations, appraisals, capability assessments, and process validations in compliance with medical device regulations.
  • Implementing process enhancements aimed at optimizing productivity, yield, and quality, adhering to change control protocols.
  • Functioning as a Change/Project Leader for the aforementioned activities.
  • Providing timely reports against established objectives.
  • Training fellow team members and operational staff as necessary.

Candidate Profile:

We seek individuals with strong numerical, verbal, and engineering reasoning skills, along with problem-solving capabilities, and the following qualifications:

  • A mechanically trained engineer with apprenticeship experience and a foundational understanding of basic electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience in leading or participating in validation initiatives.
  • Experience in authoring and reviewing technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fault diagnosis and root cause analysis of automated machinery.
  • Familiarity with budget management.
  • Experience in leading or collaborating within project teams.
  • Knowledge of laser marking, thermal printing, and labeling technologies.
  • Understanding of vision systems and barcode scanning equipment.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
