Early Years Apprenticeship Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner at our Cedar Park Day Nursery in Bridge Farm Road, Twyford, Berks. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and supportive learning environment, planning and implementing activities to enhance children's development.
  • Interact positively with all nursery users, working in partnership with colleagues and parents to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Adhere to nursery routines and policies, seeking guidance from leadership as needed.
  • Manage time effectively to submit coursework by deadlines.

  • Competitive hourly pay rate, increasing after 6 months and 12 months in post.
  • Opportunity to gain a NCFE CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, depending on your level of experience.
  • Level 2 functional skills qualifications in maths and English, if required.
  • Paediatric first aid qualification.
  • Permanent contract and opportunity to become a qualified Nursery Nurse.
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Photographic ID and documentation to evidence national insurance number.
  • Access to a computer for online assessment and coursework submission.
  • Residency in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Comfortable with travel to group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
