About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic French speaking Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in the classroom, working closely with teachers to enhance the learning experience and provide one-on-one or small group support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Support: Assist in delivering lessons and supporting students across various subjects, including French language and culture.
  • Student Support: Provide tailored support to students, helping them to achieve their academic and physical potential, and promoting a positive and active learning environment.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences, and contribute to the development of curriculum materials.
  • Classroom Management: Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: A strong background in languages, with the ability to speak fluent French and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Education: A relevant qualification in education or a related field, and experience working with children in a educational setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
  • Flexibility: A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students' needs, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
