IQVIA is in search of a dedicated Finance Specialist to become a vital part of our client's organization. This position encompasses a variety of financial responsibilities, including routine accounting functions, adherence to financial regulations, and support for the Country Manager. The role presents opportunities for professional development and may involve occasional travel as well as after-hours commitments to accommodate various time zones.

Core Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:

Facilitate prompt purchase order processing and goods receipt documentation.

Verify claims and associated documents, submit claims, and ensure timely follow-up on payments.

Conduct reconciliations of goods receipt/invoice receipt and accounts payable.

Accounts Receivable Oversight:

Monitor and pursue payments from distributors.

Reconcile statements from clients and vendors, addressing any discrepancies.

Manage credit note requests and settlements.

Reconcile receivables with distributor accounts.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Maintain monthly and year-end accrual records.

Track expenditure requests against budget forecasts.

Support the local team with financial reporting and analytical tasks.

Bookkeeping Duties:

Document and track financial transactions, circulate necessary approvals, and maintain comprehensive records.

Cross-Functional Support and Financial Assistance:

Assist with month-end accruals, year-end financial closing, annual budget formulation, tax documentation, and financial audits.

Ensure adherence to corporate policies and guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.

A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Thorough understanding of accounting standards and practices, including GAAP.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.

Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.

Excellent communication skills are essential.
